FEVERS CURE THROUGH HOMEOPATHY
The normal temperature of human body is 98.4 degrees F or 37 degrees C. When the thermometer after putting it for a minute or so in the mouth below the tongue shows a rise in temperature it is termed fever.The
body becomes hot and pulse rate increase in promotion 10 to 1 degree rise in
temperature. Respiration increases generally by 2 to 1 degree of temperature.
Rise of temperature above 105 degrees and fall below 96 are both dangerous.
In
fact, fever in itself is not a disease but it occurs when there is a disease.
When some derangement occurs in our body, Nature or our Vital Force tries to
set right the derangement, and fever is a symptom of that effort of Nature.
Hence fever should not be got rid of by drastic medicines, but effort should be
made to remove the cause of the fever. It often occurs when there is an
inflammation or swelling in any part of the body. Fever also occurs when toxins
or some foreign poisonous matter gets into the blood stream. Severe cold, heat
of the sun, great weariness, etc. also result in fever. For such fevers the
following medicines should be given according to the cause and symptoms.
Aconite 3x 0r 30
This
medicine if given in the beginning will subside many fevers caused by the heat
of the sun, getting wet in the rain, getting chilled from dry cold wind, etc.
The patient of Aconite is restless, the fears he will die, his skin is dry and
hot, he fells thirsty and anguished, and gets worse in the night. In the
beginning give him a drop in water 0r 3-4 globules dry on the tongue, every 2
to 3 hours. Stop if the fever falls and the patient starts perspiring.
Belladonna 3x or 30
For high fever, severe headache, face red and flushed, throbbing blood vessels, red eyes, fat flabby persons.
Dulcamara : For fever in rainy season on account
of the damp atmosphere or getting wet in rain.
Pulsatilla: For fever due to overeating or too much bathing. No thirst. Patient tearful.
Camphor: When Fever is caused by catching
cold, one or two drops of mother tincture (Q) with a little sugar of milk will
avert it. Bruised pain all over the body and chill are its particullar symptoms:
If one has to go out in severe winter a dose or two of CAMPHOR Q will protect
him from catching cold.
Gelsemium: The patient lies dull, with closed
eyes, little thirst, pain in body specially in back, partial unconsciousness.
